With a focus on providing strong security updates and new features, the new Health Partners app and portal gives you more choice in which digital platform you use. This is the first phase of new features, with more on the way in the near future.

Managing your health cover should be easy, so we’re delivering an enhanced digital experience. We’ve listened to member feedback and are excited to bring all features from our Members Online portal to the app. This allows you to easily access your Inbox, manage payments, and update your student dependant information.

You’ll continue to have access to all existing features, such as making and viewing claims and editing contact details.

If you haven’t registered your digital account since November 2024, you’ll need to activate your new digital account by re-registering on either the app or portal.

To provide a more secure and connected experience, we’ve improved our authentication system. This means, once you’ve activated your new account, you will only need one login to access your Health Partners digital services.

Our new app and portal have been designed with data security front of mind. We understand our obligation to protect the personal information you entrust to us, whether you are an existing member or you’re new to the Health Partners community.

The app will update automatically if you have auto-update enabled, but it may take a few days.

Our old app version will prompt you to upgrade to the new app and you can also find the new app in the app stores to download yourself (here for Apple users and here for Google users).

Yes, your existing information (like your claim history and membership details) will transfer to your new account.

Each family member listed on the policy who is 18 years or older can access the app and portal by registering with their own email address and mobile number.

Dependants under 18 cannot access the app or portal directly. However, the policyholder or spouse with Delegation of Authority can manage their details through the app.

Adult dependants can view and manage their own information, but only the policyholder or spouse with Delegation of Authority can manage membership.

We know our members want digital cards, so we’re working on them. We’re aiming to introduce digital cards in the near future.

We’ve improved our authentication system, so now you only need one login to access your Health Partners digital services.

To get started, you’ll need to re-register your digital account. This is a one-time process that takes around 3 minutes to complete.

Download the new app for iOS and Android or head to your Health Partners portal.

This is a two-step process. Follow the prompts to re-register your account and set up your new password – then you’ll be prompted to login for the first time. Once you have registered and logged in you will be good to go.

Once your account is set up, you can also enable Face ID or Touch ID (depending on device capability) during registration or later in settings. By enabling biometrics, you will not need to enter a security code during sign-in for the next 365 days on the mobile app. On the portal, you have the option to ‘trust this device’ which will bypass the security code prompt for the next 90 days.

You’ll need to register your membership number, your name, date of birth, email address and mobile number.

Since the new app requires members to re-register, you will need to create a new password. You can use the same email address you have on file, but you will need to set up your account using the updated registration process.

An email or mobile number is required for registration.

If you’re a policyholder and don't have one in our system, please contact our Member Care team to update your details before registering for the new app.

If you’re a dependant and don’t have an email or mobile in the system, you can register through the policyholder. They will be able to verify your identity, allowing you to access the app without needing to contact Member Care.

If you forget your email, you can use your membership number and dependant code separated by a hyphen (e.g. 123456-1) as a backup when logging in. You can find your membership number and dependant code on the back of your membership card.

General tips

• Make sure you register first and then log in. You won’t be able to log in until you have completed a full registration.
• Check you are entering your details exactly as they appear on your membership card.
• Make sure your internet is stable.
• Double check you have entered the right code.
• If you are waiting for an email code, check your spam folders.
• If the password doesn’t work after registration, use the Forgot Password option to reset it.
