Mount Barker Community Centre

A small, but mighty team of volunteers who cook fresh homemade meals each week for community members in need. In 2025, they supported a whopping 250 families with this service.

We’ll help the Community Meals Project provide nutritious meals, build community resilience, strengthen social connection and create meaningful opportunities for volunteering. They’ll expand the program in 2026 safely and sustainably, ensuring that no one in their community goes without a warm, healthy meal or the knowledge that someone cares.

Zonta Club of Adelaide Flinders

A local group of women working together to improve the lives of women and girls. In South Australia approximately 1,400 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, so they’re doing something to help.

We’ll support The Breast Cushion Project, which provides vital support for women after breast cancer surgery by the provision of a free breast cushion. The U-shaped satin pillow is worn under the arm with a strap over the shoulder, giving physical and emotional comfort whilst sleeping, driving or other activities. It enables women to get back to some kind of normal quicker with care. Since 2000 they have made and distributed over 7,000 u-shaped breast cushions to hospitals across the state.

A youth mental health organisation driven by young people, for young people. Working in the prevention and early intervention space, they deliver evidence-based programs, empowering young people to take charge of their mental health.

We’ll help batyr@school programs reach young people in the Barossa. They’ll work with some local schools to deliver programs that build mental health literacy and give young people access to mental health education they would otherwise miss out on.

Tough Guy Book Club

An in-person book club who improve men’s health through a “read more, talk more, have more friends” model. They have 3 locations in metro Adelaide that encourage men to have meaningful conversations, make more friends and engage in monthly health-supporting activities.

Social connection and positive impacts on mental health are crucial in regional areas, so we’ll help them grow their monthly club to regional SA areas in Mount Gambier, Whyalla, Port Pirie and Port Augusta this year.

HAS Foundation

They support families walking through paediatric palliative care. Born from lived experience, they exist to bring compassion, connection and practical support to families during the most heartbreaking moments of their lives through care packs, programs, workshops and experiences.

We’ll support Held by HAS, a workshop for bereaved dads who have experienced paediatric palliative care. We know that men often open up when they’re shoulder-to-shoulder rather than face-to-face. This program brings Dads together in a relaxed BBQ cooking workshop where the focus is simple: real conversations, practical connection, and a safe place to be held by community.
