Facebook Community Guidelines

We love to hear from our Health Partners community and encourage positive engagement with our Facebook page. We believe in doing health insurance right, which means we are always open to feedback and looking at ways we can improve our services to our valued members.

While we encourage free and flowing conversation, there are some instances where we will intervene if we deem content to be inappropriate or unproductive.

In addition to the guidelines outlined in Facebook’s Community Standards, we reserve the right to remove posts, comments or content that are:

  • Offensive or defamatory;
  • Mentions personal or financial information of any individual, group, member or staff member. If you wish to discuss personal details related to your health insurance cover, please private message us or contact our Member Care team directly;
  • Advertising or solicitation of other products or services;
  • Spam or repeated posting of the same content (flooding);
  • In violation of intellectual property rights and laws, or any other laws and regulations;
  • False and misleading information;
  • Misrepresentations about Health Partners or Health Partner’s employees, members, contractors or any other third party.

To uphold a positive page for all users to interact with, in some situations if conduct is repeated, we will block the user in order to cease a repeated breach of our community guidelines.

We can’t accept responsibility for what others post or comment on our Facebook page but we can do our best to uphold our community guidelines and respond to it in a timely manner.
