How to use extras cover today

We are here to support our members and will keep you updated on your cover. At this challenging time and with restrictions on health services, you may be wondering how you can continue looking after your health and wellbeing with your extras cover.

Dental and optical centres open

We’re pleased to welcome you back to our Health Partners Optical and Dental practices located in South Australia.

With new restrictions announced by the South Australian government, we can now provide more services.

Health Partners Optical

We’re open for everyday eye care, including eye tests and purchases in store. Call 1300 115 115 to book.

Health Partners Dental

We’re open for more dental services, including dental check-ups. Some procedures continue to be postponed, and we will be contacting members to reschedule cancelled appointments. Call 1300 114 114 to book.

Telehealth services

Physiotherapy, psychology, speech therapy, dietetics and exercise physiology via telehealth are now covered with included extras until further notice.

Telehealth services are available where the service is included on your extras cover, terms and conditions apply. Check your product on Members Online to see if the service is included on your extras, and if any waiting periods or annual limits apply.

Contact your provider to ask if your treatment can be managed via telehealth.

Emergency ambulance cover

Cover for the unexpected. Our extras covers will cover you for on road or air emergency services Australia-wide.

Annual limits and waiting periods apply, refer to your individual cover details.

Pharmacy 20% discount

Unlimited 20% discount on non-prescription goods like vitamins, pain relief and other wellbeing products from over 50 participating pharmacies in South Australia including some Priceline and Terry White.

Discount applies to most non-prescription items, some conditions apply.

Prescription benefits at pharmacies

Receive prescription benefits at 50 participating pharmacies in South Australia on all extras covers for PBS prescriptions and private and compounding prescriptions, up to annual limits. Some pharmacies are also offering free home delivery if you’re unable to pick up in store.

Applies to PBS prescriptions that are not already subsidised by the Government. Private and compounding prescriptions include vaccinations, hormone implants, allergen implants and IVF-associated drugs.

You can make claims and manage your account 24/7 on the My Health App or Members Online.

We’ve reopened our Member Care counters at our Adelaide and Morphett Vale stores. We look forward to helping you with your health cover in person.
