As a not-for-profit health fund, we focus on giving back to our members in every way possible, and COVID-19 has been no exception.

Over the past few months our team has been working hard to provide you with extra support and value, in hope of making life a little easier during these challenging times.

Supporting you during COVID-19

Here are just some of the ways we’re taking extra care of your health.

All members given financial support

Reduced premiums
until 31 July 2020

Premiums for all members were reduced by 30% for Extras Cover and 10% for Hospital Cover.

Your premium automatically went back to the standard amount on 1 August 2020.

Postponed premium increase
until 1 October 2020

Affordable health cover matters now
more than ever. That’s why we postponed the premium increase for 6 months.

We will continue to keep you updated about premium changes in the future.

Financial Hardship
If you’re facing financial hardship or unemployment, we can provide support and relief. We encourage you to get in touch with us by calling 1300 113 113 or emailing ask@healthpartners.com.au

Covered for COVID-19 hospital claims

Cover for COVID-19 related hospital claims for all members with Hospital Cover at no extra cost.

This includes lung and chest, kidney and bladder, as well as dialysis for chronic kidney failure,
where linked to COVID-19.

Dental and optical care when you needed it most

Whilst our services were interrupted, it was important to us that we could continue to look after our members with urgent needs.

Health Partners Dental and Optical centres remained open for emergency treatment throughout COVID-19. During this time we provided much needed care for over 1,600 patients.

With the easing of restrictions, we’re now safely open for everyday eye care and more dental services, like check-ups with strict infection control procedures in place.

Health Services at Home

Telehealth Services

Whether it’s a new or existing condition, receive your physio, psychology, speech therapy, dietetics or exercise physiology consults in the comfort of your own home.

Telehealth services are covered with included Extras until 31 December 2020.

Hospital to Home Program

Recover in the comfort of your own home with our Hospital to Home Program.

Providing eligible members with access to vital health services including rehab, IV therapies and complex wound care without having to visit the hospital.

Your health comes first

Our first priority will always be to look after your health and wellbeing the best we can.

Whilst we have all been focussed on the health impacts of COVID-19, we encourage you to continue to be aware of your general health and wellbeing.  If you’re not feeling well remember to give your GP a call, and now that elective surgeries have resumed, talk to your specialist about any treatment that you had planned.
